Madani Al-Jawf gives two lectures on volunteering and safe ways to prevent people with special needs for students of Al-Jawf University
The Directorate of Civil Defense in Al-Jawf Region, in cooperation with

the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Faculty of Education at Al-Jawf University, held two lectures, the first of which was on modern methods and methods of safety to protect people with special needs from risks, and the other on electronic volunteering its concept and role in reducing risks.

The first lecture was held on modern methods and methods of safety to prevent people with special needs from risks, where Colonel Fahad Al-Darwish explained about modern methods in safety and prevention directed to the category of people with special needs.

The second lecture, which was conducted by Colonel Mohammed Al-Duwaihi, included talking about the concept of volunteering in general, how and how to register as a volunteer and focus on the great role of volunteers.

At the end of the lectures, Colonel Al-Dhuwaihi and Al-Darwish thanked Al-Jawf University for activating the aspect of community participation with the Civil Defense at the level of all events.

Al-Jouf University organizes a computer course for the blind
Al-Jouf University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and through the Special Needs Unit, organized a course entitled «Using the Speaking Computer for Blind Students» for its students affiliated with Al-Jawf University with visual impairments in cooperation with the Visual Impairment Society in Buraidah, at the Faculty of Science and Arts in Qurayyat.The course was opened under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science and Arts and in the presence of the coordinator of the Special Needs Unit of the Deanship of Student Affairs and a number of faculty members in the college.The course aims to provide participants with skills related to their current and future needs that work on Achieve psychosocial adaptation and academic achievement commensurate with their abilities.

People with special needs at Al-Jouf Olive Festival
A delegation from Al-Jouf Club for People with Special Needs, including the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Abdullah bin Musleh Al-Marahi, the Director of the Club, Mr. Saleh bin Musleh Al-Marahi, and a number of members of the Board of Directors, supervisors and players paid a field visit to the ninth olive festival in Sakakah and the third dates in Domat Al-Jandal Governorate.

During the visit, the members of the club toured the galleries and watched the farmers' production of olives, dates and their derivatives, and the delegation toured the pavilions of government agencies participating in the two festivals in addition to the exhibitions of productive families.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club stated that these visits fall under the cultural and social programs of the club, which in turn aim to entertain the players and beneficiaries of the club's programs and provide them with a number of social relations and introduce them to the nature of these festivals in addition to strengthening the relationship with the community. His special thanks to Mr. Ahmed Al-Arjan for his gift of dates to the players of the club and thanks go to the members of the board of directors and members of the club for their understanding of their social role in caring for people with special needs and caring for them.
