Jouf University is a Public University which is located in Jouf city, Saudi Arabia. It was inaugurated in 2006. The Rector of the University is Saad Al-Huraiqi. In fact, The University upholds itself as one of Saudi Arabia’s most prestigious institutions of higher education especially in the field of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences. The current enrollment stands at over 20,000 students.

Jouf University is committed to providing a positive and stimulating climate for creativity and excellence in terms of educational outputs and in terms of orientation towards the knowledge economy in order to graduate distinguished pioneering generations, meeting the needs and requirements of the labor market. Improving the quality of education and developing plans, activities and performance in line with local and international standards based on scientific evidence is one of the most important priorities of the university and therefore it is necessary to ensure quality in the outputs of the educational process research that the programs provided are of the highest quality and meet the standards of local and international accreditation.

In order to achieve participation and exchange of experiences, the University seeks to maximize interaction with the local community so that it has an imprint in providing services and consultations to the community and works effectively to achieve this by focusing on discrimination in performance and creative activities that support bridges of communication between the community and the university. The university should contribute to the development of students' abilities by expanding the circle of education to include learning through extracurricular activities and community service, which in turn helps the student to develop cognitive skills and contributes to the development of self and personal qualities.

The University seeks to apply the concept of e-management in its most comprehensive concept so that the work procedures of each university are done electronically, including the internal transactions of the university staff, the procedures for appointment and registration for study, e-learning through modern programs, and communication through phone messages and other applications.

This reflects positively on the performance of employees in terms of speed and ease of completion and quality of work.

Al-Jouf University has achieved a number of achievements and successes since its establishment in mid-1426 AH and its growth process has not stopped in various administrative, academic, educational and construction projects in the University City, which enjoys great support from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince Al-Amin supported by God, and continuous follow-up by His Highness the Amir of Al-Jawf Region and His Excellency the Minister of Education, in addition to aspects of social responsibility, and the empowerment of women in many of its work, and these achievements come to achieve the vision, mission and objectives of the University.
