Introduction

Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 5 or Global Goal 5) aims to achieve gender equality by ending all forms of discrimination, violence and any harmful practices against women and girls in the public and private spheres. Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.

Community Initiatives.
The Vice Rectorate for Female Student Affairs seeks to enhance its role towards the community through the provision of many programs and initiatives, which aim to consolidate values and principles that are commensurate with the nature of society, increase community awareness and spread a culture supportive of community participation, and the Vice Rectorate has also held several internal community partnerships with some government and private sectors, and held the first awareness forum for women driving under the slogan (Towards a Safe Positive Drive), whose activities continued over the course of a whole week, in which the forum and the accompanying exhibition were received. Many visitors from different segments of the targeted society, where many scientific events were held, the contents of which were co-presented by a group of specialists and specialists in a number of government agencies, and the forum also witnessed the establishment of a number of training courses and awareness workshops that are concerned with the culture of women driving in various directions, which promote the concept of traffic safety and safe driving, and embody the objectives and mission of the forum.

The Vice Deanship is also preparing to hold the second women's conference "Enhancing the Role of Saudi Women in the Development of Society in the Light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 Vision and Ambition", out of the University's keenness to serve the community and advance progress in various "Saudi women's issues" and to allow researchers and interested women to participate and present their scientific papers in order to open horizons for those fields and give them a wider impetus to empower Saudi women as an active member of national development.

Complexes of girls' colleges.
The Vice Deanship supervises three complexes for girls' colleges, namely the complex of girls' colleges in Sakaka, the complex of girls' colleges in Qurayyat, and the complex of girls' colleges in Tabarjil, and includes the complex of girls' colleges in Sakaka, which was opened on the twenty-ninth of the month of Muharram in 1435 AH, among its sides are all the faculties of girls at the university, and there are classrooms, some of which accommodate 100 students at once, in addition to computer laboratories that are equipped with the best equipment, in addition to scientific laboratories that provide educational services to students of scientific colleges in All levels.

The complex of women's colleges in Sakakah contains 121 classrooms, as well as 113 classrooms equipped with smart broadcasting devices, 33 halls for visual broadcasting, 21 specialized laboratories, 21 computer labs, a laboratory for e-learning and distance learning, 4 meeting rooms, 20 classrooms with a studio system and 4 devices for smart services for female students, and the lobby of the Sakakah Girls Complex is equipped with a number of screens to display student guidance announcements, in addition to automatic pagers, and many other services that contribute to saving time and effort For the student and the employee.

The complex has a library containing thousands of titles in various sciences and knowledge that help students and faculty members to scientific research, learning and knowledge, and the complex also has a satellite broadcasting service to and from the complex to transmit lectures and scientific conferences from anywhere in the world, in addition to the administrative link with the university administration electronically, while the main lobby of the complex is an attractive environment for female students, where its area reaches 5000 meters and the necessary services are available.

As for the complex of girls' colleges in Qurayyat, which was opened on the eighteenth of the month of Rabi I in 1437 AH, it consists of three main buildings, each building consists of two floors, two supporting buildings, a ceremonial theater with a main foyer linking the buildings and its dimensions of 3018 square meters, and the three main buildings consist of 73 classrooms of various capacities, nine laboratories for computers and languages, 18 classrooms with entrance axes, six unloading halls, three rest rooms for external students and three chapels, and the first supporting building consists of A central library, offices for supporting deanships and studios for broadcasting lectures, the second supporting building includes 5 scientific laboratories, 6 computer laboratories and a 579-seat celebration theater equipped with the latest modern technologies and audio and video equipment, where it can be used from inside the complex and can be used from outside the complex with complete independence.

The complex is also equipped with all the educational and administrative furniture, data departments and technical equipment for the transmission of lectures and e-learning with the possibility of receiving lectures remotely from studios in the complex or from boys' colleges in Qurayyat or the headquarters of the university in Sakakah with central air conditioning and safety requirements.

The complex of girls' colleges in Tabarjal
The complex of girls' colleges in Tabarjal, which was opened on the nineteenth spring of the first in 1437 AH, includes the girls' colleges, branches of the supporting deanships, equipped classrooms, computer laboratories, central library, scientific laboratories and other facilities, and the complex is located on a total area of 22,000 square meters and consists of three main buildings of two floors and two supporting buildings all linked to the main lobby.

Each complex also contains a health center that contributes to the service of university students, where there is a medical team consisting of female doctors and nursing technicians and equipped with the necessary devices for ambulatory cases in the complex and was also provided with a pharmacy that includes all the medicines needed by students and the ambulance for ambulance cases.

University Studies Center in Domat Al-Jandal
The Center for University Studies in Doumat Al-Jandal has open divisions to serve the center's female students affiliated to academic departments such as the Department of Arabic Language, the Department of English, the Department of Early Childhood, and the Department of Islamic Studies, in which more than 500 female students study together, and 13 professors and 28 administrative staff work, and some lectures are transferred from the university city via video broadcast.

The Center also provides students and its staff with various courses and workshops provided by specialized faculty members, such as courses in scientific research, preparation for tests, and other key axes, as well as courses held by the Skills Development Center, which are transmitted to the beneficiaries of the Center throughout the year through video broadcasting, and many national events and international days are activated, while the Center witnessed earlier this year a process of preparation that affected various aspects in its facilities, with the aim of providing the finest educational environment for students, The infrastructure has been improved and the library is equipped with computers that provide students with access to international databases in various disciplines.

The Vice Rectorate for Female Student Affairs participates in many permanent committees regarding the issues of female students, and includes agencies for colleges and supporting deanships that exercise their role in harmony with all programs and events of the university scientific, student and community service.

Al-Jouf University graduate student Ahlam Mohammed Al-Enezi achieved an advanced position in the world where her distinctive educational project that followed STEAM's methodology in education came within the top 300 educational projects selected to participate globally under the supervision of Dr. Fayyad Al-Anzi, Associate Professor of Curriculum and Methods of Teaching Science at the university, and the innovative educational project addressed the importance of bioengineering in building sound thinking to invest pressure and temperature to build bodies and models, and was selected to participate in Minti Microsoft to exchange experiences in education E2 which was held in Paris. The activities of the first awareness forum for women driving, sponsored by HRH Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Jawf Region, and organized by the Vice Rectorate for Female Student Affairs under the slogan "Towards a Safe Positive Drive" kicked off on Sunday morning.

In the presence of a number of university leaders and heads of government agencies participating, His Excellency the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Bishri, inaugurated the activities of the forum with a tour and guests of the university on the corners of the accompanying exhibition, where they were briefed on the contents of those pillars and the nature of the services they will provide to visitors, through exhibits and contents that enhance the awareness of traffic safety and safe driving as well as education on the rules of traffic safety, through brochures, paintings, displays, simulators and other means included in the exhibition.

Faisal bin Nawaf met with Al-Jawf University Council praising the decisions to empower women
HRH Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Al Jawf Region, praised the recent decisions issued by the administration of Al Jawf University, which witnessed more empowerment of women and investment of female competencies in leadership positions at the University, stressing the importance of redoubling the effort and investing the support and guidance of the wise leadership supported by God in preparing the students of the University and providing them with skills that help them contribute to the development of their country and their leadership, wishing the University success and repayment.

Conference on Enhancing the Role of Women at Al-Jawf University Recommends the Importance of Highlighting the State's Efforts in the Field of Women's Empowerment and Support
Al-Jouf University concluded the work of the second conference to enhance the role of Saudi women in the development of society in the light of the vision of the Kingdom, which was organized virtually during the period from 17 to 18 November 2020 under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Madawi bint Saud bin Abdullah, and the recommendations of the conference stressed the importance of concerted efforts between state institutions to raise the percentage of women's participation in various fields of work, study the material and moral obstacles facing women and develop appropriate solutions to overcome them to help empower them.

The conference recommended the need to highlight the development efforts made by the State to empower women in the historical, cultural, social and economic context of the Kingdom and with an integrated holistic view, in addition to informing Saudi women of contemporary challenges and raising the level of community participation.

The recommendations included the establishment of an office specialized in women's empowerment issues related to the educational aspect in the Ministry of Education, the activation of Saudi women's empowerment programs at the level of educational and educational forums, as well as the review of the programs of productive families and the intensification of the training of these families in accordance with the requirements of the labor market.

The conference also recommended strengthening the efforts of development, training and marketing of projects run by women in line with Vision 2030, intensifying health awareness for women, and the need to pay attention to the bright models of pioneering Saudi women, especially in the fields of education and charitable work, and spreading the culture of volunteerism among members of society and its institutions through training programs that address this to various segments of society.

The recommendations also included relying on strategic planning for social and charitable development work programs in non-profit sector organizations, developing mechanisms of charitable work and raising the efficiency of workers in this sector, which reflects positively on the quality of charitable work, and establishing a database of charitable work literature at the national level.

The Conference called for the development of explicit policies and procedures that serve and support women investors, encourage their access to loans and services, facilitate procedures for obtaining the necessary guarantees, as well as activate women's advisory centers to follow up on projects that women can undertake.

The Conference called for the convening of an international conference on environmental, traditional and heritage crafts for the conservation and transmission of heritage to future generations in systematic ways, the provision of information support and advisory services for the development of knowledge power, raising awareness of the most important local and international economic laws and regulations, working to care for women with special needs, providing them with moral and material support and providing an enabling environment at all stages of education, especially in the post-public education stage.

The participants in the conference urged all concerned parties to invite successful women entrepreneurs, open panel discussions in which inspiring success stories are presented, and pay attention to the academic and educational aspect by opening specializations in various universities according to integrated and comprehensive strategic planning that serves the labor market and charitable work.

At the end of the conference, the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Salem Al-Anzi, thanked the participants for the distinguished scientific effort that was presented, and the recommendations that contributed to enhancing the role of women in the development of society, stressing that the university continues to support everything that contributes to achieving the vision of the country and the aspirations of its leadership in its various objectives.

A female student from the Faculty of Computer and Information at Al-Jawf University wins the fourth edition of the ICT competition
As part of the achievements achieved by the students of the College of Computer and Information Sciences, Amal bint Mariki Al-Ruwaili won the fourth edition of the ICT competition organized by Huawei in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology out of 18 students in the Kingdom.

The Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences, Dr. Madalla Al-Ruwaili, explained that this achievement indicates the advanced level enjoyed by the students of the college, which made them compete at the advanced levels in competitions at the level of the Kingdom, praising the support provided by the Presidency of the University to the College in all fields.

The student was honored at the closing ceremony held remotely in the presence of Eng. Fares Al-Saqabi, Assistant Undersecretary for Digital Capabilities and Content at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and Mr. Zhao Liuking, Minister Advisor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Embassy of the State of China to the Kingdom, and in the presence of Mr. Stephen Liu, Executive Vice President of Huawei Saudi Arabia.
