Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. It is our pleasure to welcome you to the College of Sharia and Law at Jouf University, an academic institution that brings together the authenticity of Islamic legal sciences and the precision of legal knowledge. The College believes that knowledge is a means of building individuals, developing competencies, contributing to national advancement, and serving society.

The College is among the leading institutions specializing in Sharia and Law in the northern region of the Kingdom. It was established pursuant to the Royal Directive No. 4465/M.B., dated 28/5/1431 AH, with the aim of serving as a beacon of knowledge, education, and scientific research; nurturing specialized competencies in Sharia and Law; and contributing to national development.

The College comprises three academic departments: the Department of Sharia, the Department of Law, and the Department of Islamic Studies. It offers academic programs at both the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels within an educational environment supervised by distinguished faculty members who contribute to preparing a generation equipped with knowledge and competence, while recognizing the responsibility of knowledge and the ethics of the profession.

The College carries out its mission through a clear vision, a well-defined mission, ambitious objectives, and a strategic plan aligned with the directions of Jouf University, the standards of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. It also places strong emphasis on educational quality, the effective use of technology, the development of teaching and learning methods, the advancement of scientific research, and the enhancement of partnerships and community service.

The College aspires to strengthen its position and achieve greater excellence and leadership locally, regionally, and internationally in education, scientific research, and community service, building upon its academic capabilities, human resources, and the support of the University leadership.

The College’s journey has resulted in the graduation of hundreds of male and female graduates who have contributed to a wide range of fields, including academia, the judiciary, legal and justice-related services, security, Islamic outreach, education, research, advocacy, and Sharia and legal consultancy. They serve as ambassadors of the College and partners in the Kingdom’s journey of development and nation-building.

This journey could not have achieved its accomplishments without the grace and guidance of Allah first, followed by the generous support and continuous care extended to education by our Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and our wise leadership, who have placed knowledge, education, and human development among their highest priorities.

The support provided by Jouf University and its leadership, together with their continuous attention, follow-up, and commitment to development, has also played a significant role in enabling the College to fulfill its mission and achieve its objectives. On this occasion, we extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect them, as well as to the University leadership, for their support and care, which, after the grace of Allah, have played a prominent role in the achievements accomplished.

This generous support fills us not only with gratitude and appreciation, but also with a greater sense of responsibility to continue building upon what has been achieved, enhance performance, and accomplish further milestones worthy of the standing of the University and the College, while contributing to the service of our nation and the realization of the ambitious objectives of its Vision.

We firmly believe that what has been achieved is not the end of the journey, but rather the beginning of greater ambition, greater responsibility, and a brighter future. Accordingly, we continue our efforts in development and improvement, looking ahead to new horizons of excellence, with a steadfast commitment to advancing knowledge, developing qualified professionals, serving society, and contributing to the aspirations of our nation and its wise leadership.

We also welcome your feedback and suggestions, as communication and partnership with the community constitute an integral part of our mission.
