Prince Sultan bin Salman Leads a Scientific Partnership to Enhance Scientific Research in the Field of Disability between the King Salman Center for Disability Research and Jouf University

His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Salman Center for Disability Research, signed a memorandum of cooperation with His Excellency Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-'Shaya, President of Jouf University with the attendance of the university’ vice rectors, deans and vice deans of colleges, deans of the supporting deanships, a number of faculty members, and the administrative body at the university’ administrative building in the main campus.

On this occasion, the university president, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-'Shaya, expressed his thanks and great gratitude to His Royal Highness, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Salman Center for Disability Research, for his honor and continuous support for these promising scientific partnerships; which aim to enhance scientific research in the field of disability and develop innovative solutions to support disable people and improve their quality of life. His Excellency also extended his highest thanks, appreciation and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, and His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may Allah protect them - for their continuous support for the issue of disability, which reflects the wise leadership's commitment to caring for this group and promoting their rights, and enhancing an inclusive environment that provides new options that contribute to empowering all segments of society, and enhancing their participation in various activities aiming at building a sustainable and balanced society in the field of disability. This reflects the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing sustainable development and activating the role of all members of society in building a bright and prosperous future.

His Highness, Prince Sultan praised Jouf University pioneering role in providing educational, professional and research outputs according to the highest standards of quality and excellence at the local and regional levels. He stressed the importance of enhancing scientific, academic and research cooperation between the two sides in accordance with the systems and regulations in force in the Kingdom, to achieve tangible results that support people with disabilities and contribute to improving their quality of life. Prince Sultan expressed his thanks and gratitude to the President of Jouf University, His Excellency, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-'Shaya, and to the university staff for the warm reception and welcome, appreciating the efforts made to make this distinguished scientific partnership a success.

 His Excellency, the President of the University stressed the importance of this partnership in advancing scientific research in the field of disability, stressing the university' keenness to provide all the necessary capabilities to support research and initiatives that achieve the desired positive impact. His Excellency pointed out that this agreement aims to co-work to implement various research programs related to disability, hold scientific seminars, training courses, and joint workshops on implementing and developing programs, and participate in meetings and conferences locally and internationally, plus cooperation in all fields that enhance scientific, academic and research cooperation, in accordance with the systems and regulations in force in the Kingdom.
