His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Prince of Al-Jouf Region, received in his office at the Emirate Headquarters the President of Jouf University, Professor Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, accompanied by the University’s Vice Presidents. The meeting comes within the regular encounters that His Highness holds to follow up on the University’s progress and achievements, and to review its goals for the coming stage.

At the outset of the meeting, the University President presented His Highness with a detailed overview of the most prominent accomplishments during the academic year 1446 AH. The year witnessed a remarkable harvest of qualitative achievements that consolidated the University’s standing among higher education institutions in the Kingdom, reflecting its ability to combine academic excellence, research innovation, and community impact. The report highlighted tangible progress in several key areas, including:

• Academic accreditation
• Scientific research and innovation
• Student activities
• Community service and volunteering
• Community health services

The meeting also addressed the University’s main targets for the academic year 1447 AH, focusing on:

• Expanding admission capacity to attract more qualified students.
• Completing the path of academic accreditation for all programs.
• Enhancing the level of scientific publishing and strengthening international research collaboration.
• Promoting innovation and increasing the number of patents and applied outputs.
• Developing the student activities system to become more diverse and impactful in shaping students’ personalities.
• Intensifying community and volunteer initiatives, and broadening the scope of health programs to serve the local community.

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf commended the distinguished accomplishments presented by the University President, affirming that such achievements reflect the outstanding efforts exerted by the University’s leadership and staff. He emphasized that the University is one of the fundamental pillars in realizing the comprehensive development witnessed by the region in various fields.

For his part, the University President extended his highest gratitude and appreciation to His Royal Highness the Governor of Al-Jouf for his continuous support and close follow-up of the University’s progress. He stressed that this support represents a great incentive for the University’s community to achieve further accomplishments. He added that the University, guided by the wise leadership, is moving steadily towards excellence in education, scientific research, and community service, while continuing to strengthen its standing in global rankings, develop its academic programs, and expand its local and international partnerships, thereby contributing to the preparation of national competencies capable of competing globally.
