Jouf University President Inspects Deanship of Admission and Registration and Commends Its Efforts in Managing Admission Processes and Serving Students
Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, President of Jouf University, inspected the Deanship of Admission and Registration, accompanied by Dr. Alaa bin Saleh Al-Arjan, Vice President for Educational Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Sayyat, Dean of Admission and Registration. The visit comes as part of the University President’s ongoing follow-up of sectors directly connected to the educational process, his commitment to assessing the quality of services provided to students, and his review of the achievements made throughout the admission stages for the 1448 AH academic year.
During the visit, the University President reviewed the workflow within the Deanship and the services provided to students from the beginning of the admission journey until their regular enrollment in classes. He also reviewed the operational mechanisms, organizational procedures, and digital processes implemented throughout the various stages of admission, including communication with applicants, handling requests and inquiries, and following up on nomination, admission, and registration procedures to ensure a smooth and well-organized student experience.
Prof. Al-Shaya was briefed by the Dean of Admission and Registration on the Deanship’s efforts during the admission period, including the continuous work carried out by its teams to follow up on admission stages and procedures, coordinate with relevant entities across the University, and utilize electronic systems and digital services. These efforts contributed to improving procedural efficiency, accelerating transactions, and providing students with the information and guidance they need throughout different stages of their university journey.
The University President emphasized that the Deanship of Admission and Registration serves as one of the University’s key interfaces, given its direct responsibility for managing students’ academic journeys from their very first interaction with the University. He noted that the quality of the student experience begins with clear and well-organized admission procedures, effective digital services, and professional communication that helps students transition smoothly and confidently into university life.
Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya commended the role played by the Deanship of Admission and Registration and its staff throughout all procedures and stages of student admission. He praised their continuous efforts, commitment, sense of responsibility, and dedication to serving students and completing admission processes efficiently and to high standards of quality.
He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Deanship’s teams during the admission period, emphasizing that the results achieved reflect a strong spirit of institutional teamwork and integration among the University’s various sectors, contributing to enhancing the quality of educational and administrative services provided to students.
The University President stated that serving students is a central pillar of the University’s operational system and that Jouf University continues to develop its procedures and services to make them more accessible, enhance beneficiary satisfaction, and provide a supportive academic and administrative environment that enables students to focus on their educational journey from the moment they join the University.
He also directed the Deanship to continue developing its electronic and procedural services, make effective use of data and performance indicators to improve the beneficiary experience, simplify procedures, and strengthen integration with colleges and supporting deanships. These efforts, he noted, will contribute to enhancing the efficiency of students’ academic journeys at all stages.
During the visit, Prof. Al-Shaya met with a number of the Deanship’s staff members and commended their efforts and the continuous work they carried out during the admission season to serve students and applicants. He stressed that the success of any institutional system depends on the competence, dedication, and integration of its personnel, and that the contributions of the Deanship’s administrative and technical teams are a key component of a high-quality university experience.
