The Legal Affairs Department is committed to ensuring full compliance with all laws and regulations in force within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is achieved through the comprehensive review of all administrative and academic decisions and procedures prior to their implementation. This objective encompasses the development of robust mechanisms for legal review and auditing, the establishment of comprehensive databases for laws and regulations, and their periodic updating to ensure alignment with any amendments or updates that may arise.
Objective 2: Developing Digital Legal Services
Within the framework of digital transformation and in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, the Department aims to develop a comprehensive electronic platform that enables University members to access legal services easily and effectively. This platform will include an electronic case management system, interactive contract and agreement templates, remote legal consultation services, and a comprehensive digital legal library.
Objective 3: Promoting Legal Culture and Organizational Awareness
The Department will work to develop comprehensive training and awareness programs aimed at raising the level of legal awareness among University members. This includes organizing regular workshops, preparing guidance manuals, and developing interactive educational content to help University staff and faculty better understand their legal rights and obligations.

The Department seeks to develop and improve all legal processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of faster and more accurate services. This includes automating routine operations, developing clear performance indicators, and applying total quality management methodologies across all Department activities.

The Department aims to build strategic partnerships with national legal and academic entities and to exchange expertise and best practices in the field of university law. It will also seek to enhance cooperation with legal departments at other universities, to develop unified standards and improve the quality of legal services in the higher education sector
