The visit reflects the University’s commitment to closely monitoring the readiness of its healthcare facilities, assessing the quality of medical services provided, and enhancing healthcare quality and patient safety.

The field tour covered various clinics, departments, and medical facilities. During the visit, the University President reviewed the level of preparedness, patient reception procedures, healthcare delivery processes, workflow within the clinics, and the available medical and technological capabilities that support diagnosis and treatment and contribute to improving the efficiency and quality of services provided to beneficiaries.

Prof. Al-Shaya also inspected a number of specialized clinics and supporting service facilities, where he reviewed the latest medical equipment and technologies in use. He was briefed on the nature of the services provided by the clinics, the operation of medical equipment, and the organizational procedures implemented to ensure patient safety and enhance the quality of healthcare services.

The University President emphasized that the medical clinics constitute an important component of the University’s integrated service system for its employees and beneficiaries. He noted that Jouf University has equipped the clinics with advanced medical devices and facilities and established an integrated healthcare environment that enables medical professionals to perform their duties efficiently while providing patients with the care and attention they require in a safe and well-prepared setting.

Prof. Al-Shaya stated that the advanced capabilities and equipment available at the medical clinics reflect the University’s commitment to ensuring that all resources are utilized to promote patient comfort, safety, and well-being. He stressed that the quality of healthcare services is not limited to the availability of modern medical equipment, but also encompasses excellence in medical practice, rapid response, professional interaction with beneficiaries, and adherence to the highest standards of safety and quality.

He further emphasized that patients must remain at the center of healthcare services from the moment they enter the clinics until the completion of their treatment journey. Achieving this, he noted, requires effective integration between medical expertise, administrative organization, and technical capabilities to provide a seamless, professional, and patient-centered healthcare experience that ensures the highest levels of safety and reassurance.

During the tour, the University President commended the continued efforts of physicians, healthcare professionals, technical staff, and administrative personnel working at the medical clinics. He praised their dedication to serving patients and fulfilling their professional and humanitarian responsibilities with efficiency and commitment, emphasizing that their efforts and contributions are fundamental to the success of the University’s healthcare system.

Prof. Al-Shaya also directed the continuation of efforts to further develop healthcare services, maximize the utilization of available equipment and resources, strengthen preventive maintenance programs for medical devices, and maintain rigorous standards in infection prevention, patient safety, and workplace quality. These measures, he stressed, are essential to ensuring sustainable service efficiency and maintaining a high level of operational readiness.

The University President affirmed that Jouf University considers healthcare services an integral part of the quality-of-life ecosystem within the University. Providing appropriate healthcare, he noted, contributes to creating a safer and more stable university environment while enhancing the quality of services provided to students, faculty members, employees, and other beneficiaries.

He added that the University continues to develop its facilities and supporting services, including healthcare facilities, according to an integrated approach focused on enhancing infrastructure efficiency, modernizing equipment, investing in human capabilities, and improving the beneficiary experience. These efforts contribute to raising service quality and strengthening a culture of institutional excellence.

During the visit, Prof. Al-Shaya met with a number of physicians and staff members at the clinics and gained firsthand insight into their daily responsibilities. He emphasized the importance of integration and coordination among medical, technical, and administrative specialties to ensure timely service delivery, operational continuity, efficiency, and beneficiary satisfaction.

He also stressed that the continuous development of the medical clinics should be based on a thorough understanding of beneficiaries’ actual needs, keeping pace with advances in medical equipment and technologies, and optimizing the use of available resources. Such efforts contribute to establishing an efficient, sustainable, and high-quality healthcare service model.

The University President’s visit to the medical clinics forms part of a series of field tours aimed at closely monitoring the University’s various facilities and services, assessing performance and readiness levels, and ensuring that available resources are effectively utilized to serve beneficiaries and continuously enhance the quality of services provided.

The visit reflects Jouf University’s commitment to strengthening the concept of integrated healthcare by linking advanced medical equipment with professional expertise and high-quality medical practice.
