In a humanitarian initiative embodying the values of solidarity and compassion and reflecting the vital role of universities in serving society, Jouf University launched a blood donation campaign on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, under the patronage of its President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, in cooperation with Al-Jouf Health Cluster. The initiative builds on the national blood donation campaign launched by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — may God protect him. It seeks to foster a culture of generosity and giving, reinforce the values of social responsibility, and contribute to saving lives.

The campaign reflects Jouf University's commitment to supporting national initiatives with a meaningful humanitarian impact and strengthening its role in serving the community through impactful initiatives that promote human well-being. It also aims to raise awareness of the importance of blood donation as a noble humanitarian act and a lasting expression of generosity that brings hope to patients and those in need, while supporting healthcare efforts to ensure an adequate blood supply for patients requiring medical treatment.

The patronage of the University President underscores the University's commitment to fostering a culture of humanitarian service and volunteerism and translating social responsibility into meaningful, sustainable actions and initiatives.
