In a step that reflects Jouf University’s commitment to expanding its strategic partnerships, maximizing its educational and developmental impact, and contributing to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, the University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Takaful Charity Foundation during the Nonprofit Sector Forum in Education and Training 2026. The agreement aims to support beneficiary students and empower them academically, professionally, and through skills development, while advancing initiatives in innovation, scientific research, digital transformation, health, and quality of life. These efforts seek to develop national capabilities and achieve sustainable social and developmental impact.

The agreement was signed on behalf of Jouf University by its President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, while Takaful Charity Foundation was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Amer Awad Al-Zaidi. The agreement seeks to strengthen collaboration between educational institutions and the nonprofit sector, leveraging shared resources and expertise to serve students and the wider community.

The third edition of the Forum is organized by the Ministry of Education, represented by its General Department of Social Responsibility and Volunteer Work, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan. Held on October 20–21, 2026, at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh under the theme “Quality That Maximizes Impact,” the Forum brings together leaders, experts, and representatives of the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Through scientific sessions, workshops, and an accompanying exhibition, it aims to enhance the quality of education and training, promote sustainable partnerships, and develop and evaluate impactful initiatives.

The agreement aligns with the objectives of Jouf University's Strategic Plan, which focuses on advancing teaching and learning, enhancing the quality of educational outcomes, promoting scientific research and innovation, strengthening social responsibility, and achieving institutional efficiency and excellence. Through effective partnerships, the University aims to translate academic knowledge and expertise into practical programs and initiatives that deliver tangible and sustainable outcomes.

Areas of cooperation include implementing joint educational and training programs, developing the professional skills and capabilities of beneficiary students, and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise. The partnership also encompasses developing innovative and digital solutions, implementing initiatives that promote health and quality of life, conducting applied research and studies, and evaluating the impact of joint initiatives. Additionally, it covers organizing volunteer and community engagement activities and strengthening the professional and institutional capabilities of both parties.
