Screening of Antidiabetic, Hypolipidemic, and Antioxidation Activities of Kiwifruit
2021 - 2023

Type 2 diabetes (T2D) is a chronic metabolic condition associated with obesity, oxidative stress-mediated inflammation, apoptosis, and impaired insulin signaling. The utilization of phytochemical therapy generated from plants has emerged as a promising approach for the treatment of diabetes and its complications. Kiwifruit is recognized for its substantial content of antioxidative phenolics.

Nutritional Manipulation of High Fat Diet-Induced Neuroinflammation in Rats
2020 - 2022

The most prevalent disorders are obesity and related metabolic pathologies as neuroinflammation, affecting over 50 percent of the adult population. Even such conditions can also be linked to a high fat diet (HFD) daily intake. Herbal supplements, with their neuroprotective impact and very insignificant side effects, have become appealing pharmacological methods for treating various neurological disorders. Previous experimental studies have shown numerous pharmacological activities including geraniol's antioxidant and anticancer capacity.
