College of Applied Medical Sciences Organizes Workshop on “Humans in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Shaping the Workplace of the Future”
As part of its commitment to keeping pace with rapid technological transformations and developing skills relevant to modern workplaces, the College of Applied Medical Sciences at Jouf University organized a workshop entitled “Humans in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Shaping the Workplace of the Future” on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., at the College of Applied Medical Sciences Theater.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Ahmed Ali Tarrad, who highlighted the importance of preparing for the transformations taking place in the world of work amid the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies and the resulting changes in workplace environments, professional roles, and required skills.

The workshop addressed the role of humans in the age of artificial intelligence and emphasized the importance of enhancing individuals’ ability to adapt to technological changes and effectively utilize intelligent tools and applications to improve performance and efficiency, while maintaining the central role of human capabilities in shaping the workplace of the future.
The workshop also addressed the importance of developing human skills in light of the accelerating digital transformation, and enhancing preparedness to deal with future work environments, which now require greater flexibility, continuous learning, and the ability to keep up with technological developments.
Furthermore, the workshop highlighted the importance of achieving integration between human capabilities and artificial intelligence technologies, enabling individuals and organizations to benefit from the potential of emerging technologies in enhancing productivity and improving workplace environments while strengthening the distinctive human skills needed for the responsible and effective use of these technologies.
