His Excellency the President of Jouf University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, launched the Annual Training Program for Human Capital Development for the second half of 2026. The program is implemented by the University’s General Administration of Human Resources as part of Jouf University’s efforts to develop the capabilities of its staff and students, enhance its developmental and community impact, and align with its strategic objectives and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The launch of the program comes within Jouf University’s approach to investing in people as the fundamental pillar for developing institutional performance, improving the quality of teaching and learning, enhancing the efficiency of academic and administrative services, and strengthening the readiness of university talents to meet the requirements of the next phase through a qualitative training plan targeting faculty members, administrative staff, students, and the community.

His Excellency the University President affirmed that the training program reflects the University’s commitment to building a sustainable training system that contributes to empowering human capital, developing future skills, and promoting a culture of continuous development. He noted that the University is working to align its programs and initiatives with its strategic plan in a way that supports performance quality, enhances the efficiency of outputs, and raises the level of institutional competitiveness.

His Excellency explained that training is no longer merely a supporting activity, but rather a strategic pathway for developing capabilities, improving work quality, and enhancing performance efficiency across various sectors. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that the program’s outcomes are reflected in the development of educational practices, the advancement of administrative services, the empowerment of students with labor market skills, and the expansion of the University’s impact in serving the local community.

The program includes 20 in-person training courses targeting four main groups, with an average of four courses per week. Its topics have been designed to meet the needs of the University and its community through training tracks that include employing artificial intelligence in education, developing administrative, financial, and technical skills, enhancing students’ readiness for the labor market, and offering specialized community-oriented programs that contribute to supporting comprehensive and sustainable development in the Al Jouf region.

The faculty track focuses on employing artificial intelligence tools in the classroom environment, designing smart educational content, assessment and output analytics, interactive classrooms and blended learning, in addition to the ethics of artificial intelligence. These areas contribute to developing teaching methods, improving the quality of educational outcomes, and strengthening the University’s ability to adopt modern practices in higher education.

This track aims to enhance institutional work efficiency, improve service quality, and support governance and administrative excellence practices across the University’s various units.

In the student track, the program aims to enhance students’ readiness for the labor market through specialized courses in professional identity and personal branding, CV preparation and interview skills, effective communication and presentation, career planning, and digital skills. This contributes to enabling students to build a strong professional presence and acquire practical skills that enhance their future opportunities and competitiveness.

The program gives special attention to community service through training programs targeting community members and seeking to create a comprehensive and sustainable developmental impact in the Al Jouf region. This stems from the University’s mission to serve its surrounding community, strengthen its role in building knowledge, spreading skills, supporting community development, and reinforcing the concept of the university as an active partner in developing both people and place.

The program is expected to create a qualitative impact across the targeted groups by providing faculty members with AI-enhanced education and modern teaching methods, enabling administrative staff to achieve higher administrative, financial, and technical efficiency, strengthening students’ readiness for the labor market and self-marketing, and contributing to sustainable developmental impact for the community in the Al Jouf region.

The implementation mechanism of the program is based on organized monthly launches, flexible training delivery, media coverage that enhances reach and engagement, and the possibility of repeating programs according to need. This ensures the sustainability of the training impact, maximizes benefit, and achieves integration between training, institutional development, and community service.

The launch of this program embodies Jouf University’s commitment to building an advanced and smart university community capable of continuous learning, responding to future transformations, and contributing effectively to the achievement of national development objectives. It also strengthens the University’s role and position in preparing talents, empowering people, and serving the community.
