In alignment with Jouf University’s strategy to empower students and engage them in university decision-making, the Student Advisory Council at the College of Applied Medical Sciences held its first meeting for the academic year 1448 AH, chaired by the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdullah bin Falleh Alsarhani, and in the presence of the Vice Deans and Heads of Academic Departments.

The agenda addressed several core dimensions impacting student academic life and professional readiness. Council representatives presented structured feedback and innovative proposals concerning instructional technologies, clinical simulation laboratories, practical hospital rotations, and internship coordination. In addition, the discussions explored strategies to amplify student involvement in extracurricular research, health awareness campaigns, and community healthcare initiatives.
Dr. Alsarhani affirmed the college leadership’s dedicated commitment to prioritizing student welfare and educational excellence. He emphasized that actionable feedback from the council directly informs departmental development, operational enhancements, and national academic accreditation standards. Commending the representatives for their mature insight and collaborative spirit, the Dean urged the council to maintain proactive communication channels across all cohorts.
The meeting concluded with a series of actionable recommendations, including periodic follow-up mechanisms managed collaboratively between college vice-deanships and student representatives to ensure sustained academic excellence.
