The College of Medicine at Jouf University, represented by the Community Service Unit, organized an awareness campaign on the occasion of World Diabetes Day, held on Thursday, 13 November 2025, at Elyan Boulevard in Sakaka.
The campaign aimed to raise public awareness about diabetes, introduce its main causes, symptoms, and prevention methods, and highlight the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle to reduce its complications.
The event featured educational booths, preliminary blood sugar screenings, and medical consultations provided by faculty members and students. Informative brochures were also distributed to enhance health awareness among visitors.
The campaign witnessed significant attendance and engagement from the public, reflecting the College of Medicine’s commitment to promoting health awareness, serving the community, and participating in global health events.
