The esteemed University President honors the College Dean in recognition of the College’s contributions to voluntary work for the year 2025
The College of Applied Medical Sciences achieved remarkable success by ranking second among all university sectors in the track of offering specialized volunteering opportunities and third in the track of number of volunteers for 2025. The University President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al‑Shaya, honored the College Dean, Dr. Abdullah bin Falleh AlSerahani, in recognition of the College’s distinguished contributions to the university’s attainment of multiple awards in the field of volunteer work, as part of the university’s celebration of the entities that contributed to winning volunteering awards and recognitions for the year 2025.
Volunteer Work at the College in Numbers
Volunteerism is one of the fundamental pillars in enhancing the role of universities in serving the community and in instilling the values of giving and social responsibility among their faculty members, students, and staff. In line with Jouf University’s vision and mission to encourage voluntary work and support community and developmental initiatives, the College of Applied Medical Sciences has been keen to implement distinguished volunteering programs and initiatives that contribute to achieving a sustainable positive impact within and beyond the university community, serving more than 6,000 beneficiaries from various segments of society during the year 2025.

The College also expresses its deepest thanks and appreciation to all its members—faculty, administrative staff, and students—for their sincere efforts and effective contributions that helped achieve this accomplishment, affirming that what has been realized is the result of integrated institutional work, a strong team spirit, and a deep belief in the importance of social responsibility.
