The College of Applied Medical Sciences organizes a workshop on the virtual electron microscope
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance students’ technical and research skills, the College of Applied Medical Sciences, represented by the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences, organized a specialized interactive workshop entitled “Virtual Electron Microscope.” This initiative aligns with the college’s commitment to keeping pace with modern advancements in medical technologies and digital education.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the concept of the virtual electron microscope and its operational mechanisms, highlighting its role in supporting both educational and research processes. It provided an advanced digital simulation environment that enables students to explore the fine structures of biological specimens with high precision, without the need for costly traditional equipment.
Virtual Electron Microscope Techniques
The workshop featured an interactive presentation on the technologies utilized in virtual electron microscopy, along with hands-on practical applications that allowed participants to engage directly with digital models, examine various samples, and understand their microscopic characteristics.
