A joyful ceremony organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, under the patronage and attendance of His Excellency, the President of the University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, His Excellency the University Vice Presidents, Deans of Colleges, Deans of Supporting Deanships, Faculty Members, and a large gathering of male and female students participating in various activities during the academic year 1446 AH. The closing ceremony for student activities is an annual event that reflects the outcomes of student engagement in various cultural, sports, scientific, artistic, and volunteer fields. The ceremony represents the culmination of a year filled with giving and creativity, a window to honor distinguished students, and a glimpse into the future of student activities in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030


The ceremony included an accompanying exhibition, which His Excellency, the University' President inspected before the start of the ceremony. The exhibition featured the most important achievements in the student activities, as well as shields, certificates, and local and international awards the university has received through its diverse participations. It also featured a number of distinguished corners, such as:
The Cultural Corner, which featured a range of literary contributions, visual presentations, and cultural meetings,
The Scientific and Innovation Corner, which featured student research and innovation projects, interactive models, and the participation of winners in local and international exhibitions,
The Sports Corner, which featured a display of the achievements of the university' sports teams and tournaments organized by the university or in which students participated, as well as photos and medals that embody the spirit of competition,
The Arts and Media Corner, which featured paintings, graphic works, photography, and artistic and digital productions,
The Volunteer and Community Service Corner, which featured video reports on community initiatives and student success stories in the field of humanitarian work; and
The Live Interaction Corner, which featured an interactive screen displaying highlights from the academic year, a signature wall for writing impressions and motivational messages, and a platform for documenting student opinions on future activities.
The ceremony began with the Royal Anthem, followed by a fragrant recitation from Verses from the Holy Quran. Then, a film about the university' activities was shown, followed by a speech by one of the outstanding students in the field of social service. This was followed by an operetta titled "The Heart of the Dream and the Pulse of Excellence."
His Excellency, the University' President then delivered a speech in which he expressed his pride in the outstanding student achievements. He emphasized that the university places students at the core of its vision and mission, and is committed to ensuring that student activities are an effective part of building students' personalities, honing their leadership skills, and fostering a spirit of initiative and innovation.
His Excellency emphasized that student activities are not merely recreational programs or group events, but rather an integral part of the university experience, opening horizons, building confidence, and instilling national values and skills in the souls of our male and female students. He emphasized that student activities are a true reflection of the spirit of youth, a voice of creativity, and a field of challenge where the mind is refined and the soul is cultivated, and where leadership figures capable of making a difference and serving the nation are built.


He emphasized that the university is committed to providing an integrated educational environment, where academic achievement is balanced with cultural and social activity. and sports, and that the university's excellence in sports, cultural, volunteer, research, and artistic activities is the fruit of the support provided by the Wise Leadership - may Allah (Glory Be to Him) protect them - to empower youth and enhance their role in the national development process.
Following this, distinguished male and female students in these activities were honored, in addition to honoring student clubs and the supervising and supporting faculty members who contributed to the success of student programs throughout the year.
For his part, His Excellency the University' Vice President, Dr. Sa'ad bin Awad Al-Enazi, highlighted the university' commitment to providing an ideal, supportive, and stimulating environment for engaging in activities and excelling in them. He noted that these activities have contributed to developing their capabilities, enhancing their community engagement, and opening new horizons for creativity and excellence.
His Excellency, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mazhour, praised the university' commitment and the continued support of His Excellency, the University President for student activities, which has enabled the university students to excel. He noted that the number of volunteering opportunities during the year 1446 AH reached 2025, and the number of volunteering hours reached 145,849 volunteering hours, 4,586 male and female volunteers, participated in more than 50 community activities and events, benefiting more than 10,000 people. The number of qualitative initiatives reached 28, and the beneficiaries exceeded 5,000.
The university also received numerous awards, most notably:
- first place in the History Lab Hackathon at the Saudi university level;
- first and second place in Karate at the Saudi university level;
- third place in Athletics at the Saudi university level; and
- third place in Black Hat, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones.


At the conclusion of the ceremony, the attendant male – female students expressed their happiness with the year's accomplishments, emphasizing that these activities contributed to developing their capabilities, strengthening their community connections, and opening new horizons for creativity and excellence.
