In a distinctive festival atmosphere that combined authenticity and modernity, Jouf University organized a celebration of the anniversary of the Founding Day under the patronage and attendance of His Excellency, the University' President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya with the attendance of Their Excellency the University Vice-Rectors, Deans of Colleges and Supporting Deanships, members of the teaching staff, students and administrative bodies. The ceremony was distinguished by the diversity of its activities and programs that reflected the spirit of belonging and loyalty.


The ceremony was presented by the student: M'oaz bin Majed Al-Fadeed, to launch its activities with the "Royal Anthem" that followed by listening to verses from the Holy Quran recited by the student Mishari Al-Sharari,
The student Sultan bin Faisal Al-'Alayyan presented a national poem entitled "A Journey of Glory"
An operetta entitled "The Day We Began" was performed by the students: Malik bin Saud Al-Dhuwaihi, Turki bin Yasser Al-Ali, and Munira bint Abdul Rahman Al-Kuray'i.

In a speech given by the university' president on the occasion of the university' celebration of Founding Day, His Excellency stressed that this day represents a window through which we can look at our glorious past, and draw inspiration from the values of steadfastness, determination and resilience, which were and still the fuel for the progress and prosperity of our beloved Kingdom.
On his behalf and on behalf of all university' staff, the university' president extended his sincere thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz - may Allah protect them - for their efforts in the interest of the advancement and prosperity of this country, and for the witnessed giant development projects that reflect the ambitious vision for the future of the Kingdom, and confirm the determination to continue the blessed journey that began three centuries ago.


He also extended his congratulations to His Highness Jouf Region' prince, Prince Faisal bin Nawwaf bin Abdul-Aziz, and His Highness Deputy, Prince Mit'eb bin Mishaal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdul-Aziz - may Allah protect them - for their efforts and support. His Excellency stressed that Jouf University senses the value of this occasion, and is proud to be part of this great nation, and the university is committed to working hard and sincerely and contributing to preparing aware generation of its identity, adhering to its values, and qualified to keep pace with the developments and requirements of the era, and achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030, by supporting education and scientific research, promoting the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and graduating national competencies capable of carrying the banner of development in various fields.
The winning students in the Founding Day competitions were honored. Then came the segment of the Saudi Ardah, which is a traditional dance that expresses the national identity, fighting spirit and dignity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is considered one of the ancient folk arts that has been developed to become a cultural symbol performed on official occasions and national celebrations.
The ceremony also included an accompanying exhibition that included exhibits related to the Founding Day, with a distinguished participation of the students' clubs and colleges, which added diversity and enrichment to the celebration in a step that reflects the university' vision of achieving fruitful interaction between the ancient past and the bright present.
