Training and Internship

The Training, Internship, and Alumni Affairs Unit at the College of Applied Medical Sciences is responsible for overseeing field training programs and internship year activities for male and female students. The Unit plays a vital role in enhancing students’ professional competencies and bridging the gap between academic learning outcomes and practical experience. It also follows up on alumni affairs by providing professional support and career guidance, maintaining continuous communication with graduates, and enhancing their readiness for the labor market. Furthermore, the Unit seeks to establish effective partnerships with training institutions and employers to achieve excellence in professional training, career development, and graduate employability.

The Internship Preference Form is an organizational tool designed to collect and document students’ preferences regarding internship training sites. It assists in distributing interns among training institutions according to clear criteria and available training capacities. The form also supports the Training and Internship Unit in planning internship programs at an early stage and achieving greater alignment between students’ preferences and available training opportunities, thereby enhancing the quality of the internship experience and contributing to the development of graduates’ professional skills.

It also facilitates communication among students, the College, and training institutions, while streamlining follow-up, evaluation, and documentation processes. This contributes to ensuring the quality of training programs and enhancing students’ preparedness for professional practice and the labor market.
