Description

Oversees the preparation and periodic review of study plans and courses to ensure alignment with accreditation standards and labor market needs.

Schedules, University Examinations, and Standardized Tests Committee

Description

 Manages the scheduling of courses and examinations, ensuring the integrity and fairness of testing processes.
Tasks

  • Develop and maintain the academic calendar.
  • Coordinate class scheduling with department heads.
  • Create and communicate the final exam schedule.
  • Review and revise exam policies.
  • Organize logistics for exam administration.
  • Monitor exam administration for compliance and integrity.
  • Schedule and coordinate standardized tests.
  • Collect and analyze data from standardized tests.
  • Communicate testing requirements and provide support resources.
  • Periodically review scheduling and examination processes.
  • Gather feedback from faculty, students, and staff.
  • Prepare reports on examination and testing outcomes.
  • Provide training sessions for faculty and staff.
  • Stay updated on trends in educational assessment and scheduling.

 

 

Graduation Projects, Field Training, and Alumni Committee

Description

 Supervises graduation projects, field training, and alumni relations to strengthen links between students, graduates, and the labor market.
Tasks

  • Manage the summer training program and ensure students complete all training requirements.
  • Supervise the collection and maintenance of information about training institutions and establish a database.
  • Facilitate communications to secure training opportunities for students.
  • Distribute training opportunities and resolve related issues for students.
  • Evaluate weekly training reports on student performance during internships.
  • Prepare feedback forms for students to assess training institutions.
  • Document graduates' information in a database and maintain communication with alumni.
  • Measure satisfaction levels of graduates and employers through surveys.
  • Organize an annual recruitment day for graduates and employers.
  • Prepare a comprehensive report on committee activities at the end of the training period.
  • Review and approve graduation projects and oversee discussions and evaluations.
  • Coordinate joint projects with other departments when necessary.
  • Submit periodic reports to the Dean of the College and Head of Department on project progress.
  • Enhance communication and collaboration among graduates for program development.
  • Address any appeals regarding graduation projects from students or faculty.
  • Implement tasks referred from the Head of Department and Dean of the College.
