Deanship of Admission and Registration, has launched the second edition of the “Daamoon” Academic Advising Initiative, aiming to provide specialized advisory services and raise students’ awareness of academic regulations and policies. The initiative seeks to facilitate students’ academic journeys and enhance the overall quality of their educational experience.
The initiative aligns with the Deanship’s mission to achieve efficiency and excellence in admission, registration, and academic advising processes by supporting students and delivering high-quality, transparent services that contribute to improving educational outcomes and aligning them with labor market needs.
The “Daamoon” Initiative focuses on educating students about electronic services and academic procedures, including add and drop, transfer, postponement, withdrawal, interruption, academic excuses, scholarships and rewards. It also clarifies key academic terms, study and examination regulations, and emphasizes the importance of academic advising in helping students make informed academic decisions with confidence.
The second edition includes a series of remote awareness workshops targeting academic advisors and students, in addition to in-person advisory sessions and consultation services provided by the Deanship’s team at its headquarters in the university campus and the female students’ complex, offering direct guidance and support to students.
Through this initiative, the Deanship aims to build a supportive university environment, empower students to effectively manage their academic paths, and enhance their academic success and stability.
