The Applied College at Jouf University published an awareness guide highlighting key academic regulations that students need throughout their academic journey. The guide aims to enhance students’ understanding of academic procedures and regulations and help them plan their university studies with greater clarity and confidence.

The guide explains that the academic study load ranges from 12 to 20 credit units depending on the student’s cumulative GPA. It also outlines the regulations for withdrawing from a semester, including submitting the request at least three weeks before the beginning of final examinations. In addition, it explains the requirements for postponing studies, with requests to be submitted before the beginning of the first week.

The guide also addresses interruption of study and re-enrollment, as well as transfer pathways from outside the university, within the university, and between Applied College branches. It further highlights regulations concerning academic dismissal and additional academic opportunities. Through this initiative, the college seeks to strengthen students’ academic awareness, help them understand their rights and responsibilities, and support informed decisions throughout their academic journey toward graduation.
