As part of the College’s celebration, represented by the Department of Physical Therapy and Health Rehabilitation, on the occasion of World Physical Therapy Day 2026, the College of Applied Medical Sciences at Jouf University organized a specialized scientific and educational lecture entitled: 'The Role of Physical Therapy in Stroke Prevention, Management, and Rehabilitation,' presented by Dr. Motaz Mohammed Alsemary.

The lecture took place at the College of Applied Medical Sciences Auditorium, with an outstanding attendance of faculty members, students, and healthcare professionals.
The session highlighted the preventive and therapeutic dimensions of stroke, emphasizing the vital role of physical therapy programs in mitigating risk factors, delivering early intervention in both acute and chronic stages, and implementing the latest evidence-based practices to restore motor functions, enhance patients' quality of life, and foster daily functional independence.
