Seconds Can Save a Life campaign

The College of Medicine at Jouf University, represented by the Community Service Unit, organized the “Seconds Can Save a Life” Awareness Campaign, which aimed to highlight the importance of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and its vital role in saving lives during cardiac or respiratory arrest emergencies.

The campaign sought to raise community awareness about CPR skills and encourage individuals to learn and apply them in emergency situations through educational booths and practical demonstrations conducted by medical specialists.

The event received wide engagement from community members, who showed great interest in the campaign’s activities and actively participated in the demonstrations and awareness sessions — reflecting the importance of spreading such essential life-saving skills.

This initiative comes as part of the Community Service Unit’s programs at the College of Medicine, which aim to promote the culture of first aid, quick response, and health awareness among different segments of society, in support of the university’s efforts to serve the community and contribute to achieving Saudi Vision 2030 by enhancing preventive healthcare and quality of life.
