This day reflects the esteemed position of pharmacy as one of the fundamental pillars of the healthcare system, where pharmacists contribute to providing safe treatment, rationalizing the use of medications, and offering pharmaceutical consultations to patients, in addition to their active participation in health awareness programs and disease prevention.

The role of the pharmacist in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is increasingly prominent within the framework of Vision 2030, as they have become a key element in advancing healthcare services and adopting modern practices in pharmaceutical care and scientific research.

As we celebrate this day, we recall the words of our Leader, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may Allah protect him – who said: “Your profession is great, and your words are like medicine.” These immortal words affirm the value of this noble profession and its humanitarian mission.
