President of the University Inspects University Housing and Directs the Swift Completion of Ongoing Works and the Fulfillment of Safety and Security Requirements, and Opens Applications for Faculty Members to Maximize the Use of Vacant Buildings
The President of the University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, accompanied by the Vice President of the University, conducted an inspection tour of the university housing facilities as part of his continuous commitment to on-site follow-up and direct review of the readiness of residential units and the quality of services provided to faculty members. During the tour, His Excellency reviewed the condition of the residential buildings and directed the rapid completion of all ongoing works, ensuring the fulfillment of safety and security requirements. He also instructed that applications be opened for faculty members to benefit from the vacant buildings in a manner that best meets their needs and provides them with a safe and suitable residential environment.
His Excellency emphasized that this visit reflects the university’s commitment to developing its support services system and achieving the objectives of its strategic plan aimed at improving the quality of university life, enhancing an attractive educational environment, and supporting job and academic stability, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. He further noted that investing in the development of university housing is a key pillar in supporting the education system and achieving job and academic satisfaction. He affirmed that the university will continue implementing its development projects in accordance with the highest quality standards, in a way that fulfills the aspirations of the wise leadership – may God protect them – and strengthens the university’s developmental and community role in the region.
