Pharmacy Launches Medication Safety Campaign
In observance of World Patient Safety Day, the College of Pharmacy at Jouf University, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, is organizing an awareness and community outreach event under the theme "Medication Safety." The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Cities Mall from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The initiative aims to promote rational drug use, raise community awareness regarding potential drug-drug interactions and adverse effects, and correct widespread misconceptions regarding medicine storage and dosage adherence. The campaign features interactive and consultative stations led by faculty members and qualified pharmacy students. These stations will provide personalized counseling, answer public inquiries, and offer basic health screenings, reflecting the university's active commitment to social responsibility and public health promotion. The College of Pharmacy invites community members and mall visitors to attend and participate in this health event toward building a safer, healthier society.
