The College of Applied Medical Sciences at Jouf University, in collaboration with Prince Mutaib bin Abdulaziz Hospital, organized an awareness event marking World Osteoporosis Day, aimed at enhancing public awareness of the importance of prevention and early detection of the disease.

The event featured an informational booth that provided comprehensive insights into osteoporosis, its causes, and prevention methods, in addition to conducting various patient assessments, including muscle strength evaluation using physiotherapy devices such as a handgrip dynamometer.

Additionally, an informational display was presented highlighting the differences between healthy bones and those affected by osteoporosis, aimed at enabling visitors to understand the disease's impact through a visual and educational approach.
