Under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness, Prince Faisal bin Nawwaf bin Abdul-Aziz, the prince of Jouf Region – may Allah protect him, Jouf University celebrated the graduation of its 20th batch of male and female students on Wednesday evening, May 7, 2025. The ceremony was held in a joyful academic ceremony at the sports stadium on the university campus, attended by His Excellency, the University' President, Prof. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, a number of officials from the region, the graduates' parents, and a large gathering of the university staff.
This batch of graduates comprised more than 4,400 postgraduate and graduate male – female students from various colleges and academic specializations. This achievement reflects the university' commitment to effectively contributing to providing the nation with qualified national talents, who will contribute to building the Kingdom's future and achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by a march by the graduates, who expressed their overwhelming joy at this great achievement, amid applause from the audience and a distinct celebratory atmosphere.
Then, verses from the Holy Quran were recited, followed by a speech by the graduates, who thanked His Highness, the Prince of Jouf Region for his support and patronage, as well as the professors and parents. Then, a visual presentation about the university was presented, highlighting the support of the Wise Leadership and the follow-up and patronage of His Highness, the Prince of the region.
His Excellency, the University' President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya delivered a speech welcoming His Highness, the Prince of the region, the sponsor of the ceremony, expressing his deep gratitude and appreciation for his continued support for education and scientific research in the region and his constant participation in various university events. He praised His Highness's generous patronage, which conveys a message of great support and sincere paternal care, reflecting His Highness's constant commitment to youth engagement, fostering excellence, supporting educational institutions in the region, and assisting the university' efforts to achieve its educational and developmental mission and enhance its outcomes in line with the aspirations of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
He also thanked His Excellency, the Minister of Education, Prof. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Bunayyan, for his continued support of the university in advancing the education system.
He addressed the graduates, urging them to be always proud of their Leadership and Their Country, to arm themselves with values, and to adorn themselves with good morals, so that they may become distinguished leaders, useful citizens, and loyal builders of this great nation.
He thanked parents, faculty members, administrators, and everyone who contributed to the success of the ceremony.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, commemorative photos were taken with the top-achieving students, amidst an atmosphere of pride and honor for the graduates and their families. This occasion painted a vibrant national picture, mingling with tears of joy, the ululations of mothers, and the university' celebration of its new cadres, who are setting out to serve their country with their knowledge and expertise.
