College of Applied Medical Sciences Organizes a Workshop on the National Qualifications Framework
The College of Applied Medical Sciences at Jouf University organized a workshop titled “National Qualifications Framework: From Update to Implementation” on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the College Theater. The workshop was attended by academic leaders and faculty members.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Khalid Omar Abu Salef, a faculty member in the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences. He addressed the latest developments in the National Qualifications Framework and its importance in developing academic programs and ensuring their alignment with educational quality standards and labor-market requirements.
Implementing the National Qualifications Framework in Academic Programs
The workshop also reviewed practical mechanisms for implementing the National Qualifications Framework within academic programs, contributing to greater alignment of learning outcomes, improved effectiveness of academic plans and courses, and support for the College’s progress toward excellence in health education and training.
This workshop forms part of the College’s ongoing efforts to strengthen a culture of quality and institutional excellence, while enabling faculty members to keep pace with national developments in qualifications and academic-program development, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
