The College of Medicine at Jouf University, represented by the Community Service Unit, organized an awareness campaign titled “Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)” at the college premises, aiming to promote health awareness among female staff and students and to educate them about PCOS, its common symptoms, complications, methods of diagnosis, and treatment options.
The campaign included educational messages and awareness materials highlighting the importance of early detection and the role of a healthy lifestyle in reducing symptoms and preventing complications, in addition to answering attendees’ questions regarding health-related aspects of the condition.
The campaign witnessed positive interaction and engagement from attendees, reflecting the importance of promoting health awareness and spreading preventive health culture within the university environment.
This campaign comes as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to implement awareness initiatives and health programs that contribute to raising community health awareness and serving society.
