Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, and coinciding with World Mental Health Day, the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat, represented by the Nursing Department, held an awareness event entitled World Mental Health Day on Monday, October 13, 2025.

The event included an explanation of the concept of mental health, its importance, common mental disorders, ways to deal with them, advancing the field of mental health, and working to develop and improve psychological services.

The event also included raising awareness about mental health, its importance for individuals, stress management, psychological life skills, prevention, building a supportive environment for mental health, and psychological rehabilitation programs.

This was followed by an explanation of some mental health issues and how to find solutions. The event concluded with a question-and-answer session.
