Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, and coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat, represented by the Nursing Department, held an awareness event entitled Breast Cancer Awareness at the Women and Children's Center on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 6:00 PM.

The event aims to raise women's awareness of breast cancer and its causes.

Its symptoms and prevention methods, which begin with awareness and early detection, were also explained.

This was followed by a discussion of treatment, which depends on the type and stage of the tumor (surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation). The event concluded with a response to attendees' questions.
