The Master of Science in Cybersecurity at the College of Computer and Information Sciences has achieved alignment with the Saudi Higher Education Framework (Cyber-Education). This framework was developed to meet the aspirations of the National Cybersecurity Authority in "building specialized national capabilities in the field of cybersecurity, participating in the development of educational and training programs, establishing professional standards and frameworks, and developing and implementing relevant professional measurement and assessment tests."
This framework aims to support the establishment of minimum curriculum requirements for higher education programs in cybersecurity, ensuring academic quality standards for these programs and enhancing their ability to produce highly qualified graduates in the field. It also seeks to enable graduates to join the national cybersecurity workforce, contribute their knowledge and expertise, and support national objectives.
