Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry at Jouf University, Dr. Hamoud Al-Qarni, and in the presence of the college vice deans, the college organized an awareness lecture entitled: “Hearing and Obedience to the Rulers: A Jurisprudential Understanding that Promotes Intellectual Security.” The event was held as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen intellectual awareness and reinforce national values among its members.

The lecture addressed Islamic jurisprudential concepts related to hearing and obedience to rulers and their role in promoting intellectual security and societal stability. It also highlighted the importance of moderation and balance in confronting extremist ideologies, thereby contributing to the development of a university environment that is intellectually aware and secure.

The college emphasized that organizing such awareness programs aligns with the mission of Jouf University to promote national values, enhance community awareness, and support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aim to build a vibrant society characterized by security, stability, and a strong sense of national belonging and social responsibility.
