As part of its ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and serve the community, the College of Medicine at Jouf University, represented by the Community Service Unit, organized an awareness campaign entitled “Kidney Failure and Dialysis” at Bayt Al-Thaqafa in Al-Jouf.
The campaign aimed to introduce kidney failure, its causes, and associated risk factors, in addition to correcting common misconceptions about the disease and its treatment—particularly regarding the dialysis process and its importance in improving patients’ quality of life.
The campaign included educational and awareness booths through which the College team provided simplified information supported by educational materials, as well as answering visitors’ inquiries, contributing to raising community awareness and reinforcing concepts of prevention and early detection.
This initiative reflects the College of Medicine’s continued commitment to supporting impactful awareness programs, strengthening its social responsibility in promoting health culture, and contributing to building a healthier and more informed community.
