Jouf University Won the First Place in the Innovation Challenge in Presenting History, within the Social Impact Track, with the "The Council" Application' Idea within the Activities of the National History Laboratory, One of the Initiatives of the King A

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness; Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz 'Al Saud, Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Abdul-Aziz Foundation, the Foundation concluded the activities of the first edition of the "National History Laboratory", which was held at the Conference and Exhibition Center at Princess Noura bint Abdurrahman University in Riyadh, in the presence of a number of their Excellences and Highnesses.

The National History Laboratory is one of the King Abdul-Aziz Foundation's initiatives aimed at promoting innovation in documenting and preserving national heritage and history, and presenting it to the world in modern ways lining with Saudi Vision 2030.

His Excellency; Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Sammari, Advisor to the Royal Court, Member of the Board of Directors of King Abdul-Aziz Foundation, Chairman of the Studies and Publishing Affairs Committee, and the CEO of King Abdul-Aziz Foundation, Mr. Turki bin Mohammed Al-Shuwai'er, honored the projects that won the laboratory challenges, in which male and female students from more than twenty-five Saudi universities competed over three days to present creative solutions and innovative initiatives that serve national history and highlight Saudi identity in modern ways.

 

Jouf University also won the first place in the Innovation Challenge in Presenting History, within the Social Impact Track, with "Al-Majlis" application' idea that was supervised by Dr. Hisham bin Khalaf Al-Lahem and Dr. Malak bint Zayed Al-'Omari.

 

The university' participation in this event comes under the directives of His Excellency; the President of the University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, emphasizing the commitment of Jouf University to its role in supporting the process of preserving the historical and cultural heritage of the Kingdom, enhancing community' interaction and deepening scientific understanding of national history, and emphasizing that these initiatives enhance national identity and highlight the historical and cultural depth of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The participating team was supervised by: Dr. Wafa bint Fahed Alsarhani, Dr. Shaher bin Abdul Karim Al-Shaher, Dr. Malak bint Zayed Al-'Omari, and Dr. Nouf bint Rizq Al-Rawdan, with the participation of a number of students from the College of Science and the College of Computer and Information Sciences, namely: Renad Salem Al-Joufi - Shaden Salem Al-Joufi - Dana Muteb Al-Arjan - Rana Mohammed Al-Enazi - Wajd Fahd Al-Hozayem - Al-Shima'a Fahd Al-Lahem - Lamis Jameel Al-Humaid
