Jouf University Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Oracle to Enhance Digital Transformation and Empowerment in Cloud Computing Services

As part of Jouf University' efforts to support digital transformation and enhance the capabilities of its members and students in modern technologies, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in developing the educational and digital sector. In addition as part of the activities accompanying the LEAP 2025 conference, Jouf University, represented by the Deanship of E-Learning and Digital Transformation, signed a memorandum of understanding with Oracle Corporation, with the aim of exploring ways of joint cooperation to provide advanced solutions in the fields of digital transformation and empowerment in Cloud Computing Services, and providing its students and members with the necessary skills to keep pace with the rapid developments in the world of information technology.

Dr. Ahmed Musa Al-Siyat, Dean of the Deanship of E-Learning and Digital Transformation represented the university in signing while Mr. Abdullah Al-Qarwan, Executive Vice President of Oracle Corporation in Saudi Arabia, represented Oracle Corporation.

His Excellency, the President of the University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, explained that such agreements enable the university to adopt the latest technical solutions, and provide an advanced educational environment that is in line with the requirements of the modern era, and contribute to building a strong knowledge base within the university.

The areas of cooperation in the memorandum included:

• Cooperation in researching digital transformation solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence and cloud computing.

• Providing technical workshops to assist the university employees in the fields of cloud computing and artificial intelligence.

• Providing training opportunities for the university members through training programs at Oracle University.
