Jouf University President Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya Conducts Field Visit to Monitor Final Examinations and Affirms Colleges’ Readiness to Serve Students
The President of Jouf University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, accompanied by the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Alaa bin Saleh Al-Arjan, conducted a field visit to monitor the progress of final examinations in a number of university colleges. The visit comes as part of the university’s commitment to closely following up on the educational process and ensuring a suitable environment for male and female students to take their examinations in an organized and supportive atmosphere.
During his visit to the College of Computer and Information Sciences and the College of Engineering, Prof. Al-Shaya reviewed the readiness of examination halls and committees, the mechanisms of organization and follow-up, and the availability of academic, advisory, and technical services provided to students. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the highest standards of quality and discipline in managing examinations, in a manner that ensures fairness and transparency and enhances the efficiency of academic performance.
The University President also met with a number of college deans and supervisors of examination committees, where he was briefed on the colleges’ plans for organizing examination procedures and the measures adopted to ensure that examinations are conducted in accordance with approved regulations and systems. He also reviewed the efforts being made to provide a safe and well-prepared educational environment that enables students to complete their examinations with ease and confidence.
Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya affirmed that the university gives special attention to final examinations, as they represent an important milestone in students’ educational journey. He noted that field follow-up contributes to strengthening the quality of academic work, allows direct assessment of the needs of colleges and students, and supports all efforts that contribute to the success of the educational process and the achievement of distinguished outcomes.
He also appreciated the efforts of the colleges, faculty members, and committees involved in organizing the examinations, praising the readiness, discipline, and integration of roles he observed during the visit. He urged male and female students to continue working diligently, benefit from the services provided by the university, and wished them success in their examinations and academic journey.
