The President of Jouf University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, Inspects Examination Committees at the College of Business
As part of his field visits aimed at monitoring the conduct of final examinations, the President of the University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, inspected the examination committees at the College of Business. The visit sought to assess on-site readiness and organization, and to ensure the provision of an appropriate educational environment that enables students to sit their exams in an atmosphere characterized by discipline, fairness, and transparency. The visit was attended by the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Alaa bin Saleh Al-Arjan, and they were received by the Dean of the College of Business, Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sarhani, along with the college’s vice deans.
During the tour, His Excellency reviewed the mechanisms for organizing examination committees, plans for distributing examination halls, and supervision and follow-up procedures. He also examined the readiness of the halls in terms of technical and technological equipment, and the extent of compliance with the regulations and instructions governing examinations, ensuring their smooth and orderly conduct and the achievement of the highest standards of academic quality. He also listened to a detailed briefing from the Dean of the College of Business regarding prior preparations for the examinations, the precautionary and organizational measures in place, procedures for addressing observations and inquiries, and ways to provide academic and advisory support to male and female students throughout the examination period.
The President of the University commended the efforts exerted by the Deanship of the College of Business, faculty members, and administrative staff, praising the high level of organization and discipline observed, as well as the clear commitment to implementing regulations and instructions. He affirmed that these efforts reflect the college’s awareness of the importance of this phase. During the visit, he emphasized the need to provide a motivating and safe examination environment that considers students’ needs and helps them focus and perform optimally. He also stressed the importance of continuing to develop assessment and evaluation mechanisms and strengthening a culture of quality and academic responsibility, in line with the University’s strategic directions and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to advance the higher education system.
For their part, a number of students expressed their appreciation and pride in the President’s visit, noting that this gesture reflects the University leadership’s care for students and its keenness to follow up and support them, which positively impacts their morale and enhances their confidence in the educational environment provided. This inspection comes as part of a series of field tours carried out by the University administration to monitor the conduct of examinations across various colleges, reaffirming its commitment to enhancing the quality of the educational process, strengthening academic discipline, and advancing the overall university student experience, thereby contributing to institutional excellence and educational sustainability.
