Our dear students, today you are shaping your future, defining the features of your renaissance, and continuing the path of giving to this country. Your university is proud of you and your aspirations, and firmly believes that you are the true wealth and the pillar of development.
My colleagues, faculty and staff members, I renew my gratitude and appreciation for your blessed efforts in serving our students. I call on you to work as one team and to continue supporting the university’s march toward leadership and distinction.
I cannot fail to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to our wise leadership—may God protect it—led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz—may God preserve them—for their care and continuous support for higher education in our beloved nation. I also commend the close attention of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Al-Jouf Region—may God protect him—who grants the university great care and continuous support to help it achieve its developmental and scientific goals. Likewise, I extend my appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Banyan, for his close follow-up of universities’ plans and his constant support for the development of higher education.
In conclusion, I extend once again my warm welcome to all our students, wishing them a year full of learning and success. I also renew my thanks to my colleagues—faculty and staff members—for their blessed efforts. I pray to God that this year will be filled with accomplishments and achievements, that He blesses all efforts, preserves our nation and its leadership, and continues to grant us security and prosperity.
