Jouf University’s College of Nursing Trains Maymouna School Students in First Aid:
The College of Nursing at Jouf University, represented by the Activities, Initiatives, and Community Service Unit, in collaboration with Care Club, organized an awareness event titled “First Aid: A Response That Makes a Difference” on September 15, 2026, at Maymouna bint Al-Harith Second Intermediate School in Al-Laqait, as part of World First Aid Day activities. The event aimed to promote health awareness and develop students’ basic emergency response skills.
The event featured hands-on training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) using simulation manikins, along with guidance on appropriate emergency response procedures. These activities provided students with an opportunity to learn essential first aid skills through practical demonstrations and direct observation.
The event reflects the College of Nursing’s ongoing efforts to promote health education and strengthen its role in community service by extending nursing knowledge and practical skills to school settings. It also aimed to raise awareness of the importance of early intervention and appropriate action in emergency situations.
