Jouf University hosted on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, the 28th meeting of the Committee of Their Excellencies, Presidents, and Directors of Universities and Higher Education Institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Prof. Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, President of Jouf University, with the attendance of several university presidents and members of the joint technical committees.
The meeting, held at Jouf University, comes as part of the university’s continuous efforts to strengthen integration and cooperation among GCC higher education institutions and to exchange experiences in the fields of education and scientific research, contributing to the enhancement of higher education quality and the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
Discussions during the meeting covered several key topics related to the development of higher education systems, including the follow-up on the implementation of GCC Ministers of Education resolutions and the activation of digital transformation and cybersecurity initiatives within GCC universities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants expressed their appreciation to Jouf University for its distinguished organization and warm hospitality, praising the university’s role in representing Saudi universities and its active contribution to advancing Gulf higher education.
