Jouf University is continuing the implementation of its blood donation campaign, launched at the university’s administrative building lobby, in conjunction with the campaign initiated by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister — may Allah protect him. The initiative embodies the highest values of humanitarian giving and social solidarity.

The university’s participation in this campaign reflects its commitment to social responsibility and to instilling the values of volunteerism and community service, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build a vibrant and cohesive society and encourage humanitarian and health initiatives that contribute to improving quality of life.

This participation is an extension of the university’s efforts to support national initiatives of a health and humanitarian nature and to strengthen the spirit of citizenship and social responsibility among its faculty, students, and community members.

His Excellency the University President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, affirmed that the campaign represents a unique initiative reflecting the solidarity with the wise leadership and its directives to instill the values of giving and cooperation among the sons of the nation. He added that this campaign highlights the role of Saudi universities, including Jouf University, as active partners in Vision 2030 programs that support the Kingdom’s comprehensive development journey.

He further noted that the university will continue to organize such campaigns on a regular basis as part of its community responsibility programs, reinforcing its mission of community service and promoting a culture of giving. He called upon all faculty and students to actively participate in these national and humanitarian initiatives.

It is noteworthy that the campaign has witnessed significant participation since its first day, with many male and female students expressing their pride in joining an initiative led by the Crown Prince, affirming that blood donation is a national and humanitarian duty that strengthens their sense of belonging and reflects the values of Saudi society. Members of the local community also joined, which greatly increased the volume of donations and contributed to achieving the campaign’s objectives.

This initiative falls within Jouf University’s broader approach to enhancing its role in community service and promoting the principles of community partnership, consistent with its educational and research mission. The university has long been committed to organizing humanitarian and health awareness initiatives that spread a culture of volunteer work and contribute to raising health and social awareness among individuals.
