Applied Medical Sciences Launches a Community Initiative on Heart Health
In conjunction with the Gulf Heart Health Week, the College of Applied Medical Sciences at Jouf University organized an educational health awareness event aimed at promoting public awareness of cardiovascular diseases under the theme: "Toward a Healthier Community and a Sound Heart."
The event witnessed remarkable community engagement. The participating team conducted blood pressure screenings and offered specialized health and nutritional guidance focusing on the prevention of cardiovascular disorders and the adoption of healthy physical activity habits. In addition, informative educational brochures were distributed, and attendees' health-related inquiries were addressed.
The initiative recorded notable attendance, benefiting more than 145 visitors from the advisory and health services provided. This event reflects the college's ongoing commitment to actively contributing to community health awareness and enhancing overall quality of life.
