Projects

Biochar-based nanocomposites, Low cost, sustainable adsorbent for the effective remediation of persistent organic pollutants.
2023 - 2024

, In this work, modified bone char as low cost adsorbent will be synthesized, characterized. The factors affecting the sorption process as pH of the solution, Temperature, initial dye concentration, sorbent dose, contact time, etc. will be investigated to evaluate in the sorption of some investigated synthetic dyes for remediation of wastewater from organic materials. The prepared adsorbents will be conducted to characterization using by FTIR, Raman, XRD, BET, SEM and TEM.

Thermal Decomposition Route for Synthesis of New Zirconium dioxide Nanocrystals and their Application in the Recovery of Mo(VI) from Nitric Acid Solution
2024 - 2025

Molybdenum is a strategic metal which is widely used in industrial and chemical applications, In this study, the authors will investigate the sorbent extraction of Molybdenum Ions from nitric acid solutions by synthesized pure-phase zirconium dioxide nanocrystals. The factors influence the sorption processes will be extensively investigated to attain the optimum conditions for their recovery

Modified clays as a Cost Effective, Eco Friendly Adsorbent for Treatment of Contaminated Water
2023 - 2024

The purpose of this work is to investigate the use of modified clays adsorbents for removing colors, and heavy metals from water, with an emphasis on adsorption capacity, pH influence, isotherm and kinetic model, removal efficiency, and contact time also the prepared adsorbents will be characterized by FTIR, Raman, XRD, BET, SEM and TEM. Finally, the synthesized adsorbents will be compared with other adsorbents to evaluate their efficiency in the remediation process.

A comparative study of sorption of congo red dye on ZnFe2O4 and ZnFe2O4/Carbon nanotubes
2024 - 2025

In this Work, zinc ferrite, ZnFe2O4 (ZF) and zinc ferrite carbon nanotubes (ZFCNT) were synthesized and investigated for the sorption of Congo Red dye (CR-dye) from wastewater, This research concentrated on both adsorbents CR dye as anionic dye . Adsorption is one of the most efficient methods for removing colors, medicines, and heavy metals from wastewater.
