Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the President of Jouf University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, the University organized its annual Ramadan Iftar ceremony for international students in a spiritually uplifting evening marked by brotherhood, a deep sense of belonging, and warm human connection. The event was attended by the University Vice Presidents, Deans of Colleges, staff of the Deanship of Student Affairs, and international students representing various countries and cultures.

The ceremony was organized as part of the University’s commitment to strengthening social and human engagement with its international students, reinforcing their sense of belonging to a university community that embraces diversity and believes that cultural plurality is a source of civilizational enrichment, a broad space for exchanging knowledge and experiences, and a bridge for mutual understanding among peoples.

In a heartfelt and paternal address, the University President expressed his pleasure in meeting his international students during this blessed evening, affirming that the University regards them as an integral part of its academic and social fabric and as genuine partners in its educational and cultural journey.

His Excellency emphasized that Jouf University believes that building the individual is the foundation of all development, and that investing in students—academically and humanely—is the greatest investment in the future. He noted that caring for international students reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s broader mission of hosting seekers of knowledge, promoting moderation and balance, and fostering a culture of positive coexistence.

He further affirmed the University’s commitment to providing an integrated educational environment that enables students to achieve academic excellence, psychological stability, and social integration. He highlighted that such Ramadan gatherings strengthen human bonds and enhance communication between students and university leadership, reflecting the spirit of one united family.

The President also commended the continued support of the Kingdom’s wise leadership—may God preserve them—for education and international students, in an approach that reflects the Kingdom’s global standing and its role in serving Islam and Muslims while supporting the advancement of knowledge and learning.
