His Excellency Prof Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya Jouf University' President Inaugurates Wa'ed Exhibition for Student Projects and Innovations

Under the patronage and attendance of His Excellency, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, President of Jouf University, inaugurated "Wa'ed" Exhibition for Student Projects and Innovations. The university organized the exhibition as part of its ongoing efforts to support student creativity and promote the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the university environment. The exhibition was held in the lobby of the administrative building on the main campus with broad participation from scientific, medical, and engineering colleges.

The exhibition featured a large group of distinguished contributions from the university' male and female students, reflecting the level of excellence achieved by the university in building the capabilities of its students and motivating them to employ their knowledge and skills to produce innovative solutions that serve society and meet the requirements of the sustainable national development. The exhibitions included:

Innovative technical applications, Smart medical devices, Sustainable environmental solutions, Applied research studies.

During the exhibition' inauguration, His Excellency, the University' President emphasized that supporting the student creativity and empowering the young national talent is at the heart of the university' strategic direction. He pointed out that the university' achievements in research and innovation are the fruit of an educational environment that encourages excellence and is a result of the integration between colleges, research centers, and supporting deanships, pointing out that this approach is consistent with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which prioritizes promoting innovation and building a knowledge-based economy based on national capabilities.

The following colleges participated in the exhibition: College of Pharmacy, College of Dentistry, College of Applied Medical Sciences, College of Nursing, College of Engineering, College of Science, and College of Computer and Information Sciences. The number of participating students reached eighty-four, and the number of the participating projects reached twenty-three.

The following projects won first place through the judging of the submitted projects:

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the best winning projects in the Health, Science, and Engineering fields were honored, and certificates of thanks and appreciation were distributed to the winning students, the academic supervisors who followed up on the students' projects, and the members of the organizing committee.
